Blueberry Protein Smoothie Without Yogurt

This blueberry protein smoothie is creamy, berry-forward, and totally yogurt-free. Almond milk, chia seeds, and a spoonful of nut butter create that thick, satisfying texture you want in a high-protein smoothie, while frozen blueberries keep it frosty and bright. It’s an easy blend for breakfast, after a workout, or anytime you need something quick and filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ½ medium banana
  • 2 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ½ cup ice

How To Make It

  1. Add the almond milk, frozen blueberries, banana, rolled oats, chia seeds, almond butter, and protein powder to a blender.
  2. Add the ice on top so the blender can pull everything down smoothly.
  3. Blend on high for 45 to 60 seconds, or until completely creamy and no oat or chia pieces remain.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately while it’s thick and cold.

Tips

  • Use a mild vanilla or plain protein powder so the blueberry flavor stays front and center.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add an extra splash of almond milk and blend again.
  • For a thicker smoothie bowl texture, reduce the almond milk to ¾ cup.
  • Frozen blueberries work best here, but fresh blueberries plus extra ice will also do the job.

Blend it up, grab a spoon or straw, and enjoy every berry-packed sip!
