Frozen mango strawberry smoothie in a glass with a honey drizzle and fruit garnish

Frozen Mango Strawberry Smoothie

This frozen mango strawberry smoothie is thick, frosty, and full of bright summer flavor. Frozen mango gives it a creamy golden base, frozen strawberries add sweet berry tang, banana makes the texture smooth, and Greek yogurt brings a lightly creamy finish. It is a simple blender recipe for hot afternoons, quick breakfasts, or a colorful snack that feels refreshing without being fussy.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 small ripe banana, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk, almond milk, or orange juice
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey, plus a small drizzle for serving if desired

How To Make It

Add the milk or orange juice to the blender first. This helps the blades move easily and keeps the frozen fruit from sticking at the bottom.

Add the Greek yogurt, banana, frozen mango, frozen strawberries, and honey. Start with 1 teaspoon honey if your banana is very ripe, or use 2 teaspoons for a sweeter smoothie.

Blend on low for a few seconds, then increase to high. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add another splash of liquid, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it moves smoothly.

Blend until the smoothie looks creamy, cold, and evenly pink-orange. Pour into one large glass or two smaller glasses. For a pretty finish, drizzle a little honey on top or add a few small pieces of mango and strawberry.

Serve right away while the texture is thick and frosty.

Tips

For the thickest smoothie, use both frozen mango and frozen strawberries. If you use fresh fruit, add a handful of ice, but keep in mind the flavor may be a little lighter.

For a smoothie-bowl texture, reduce the liquid to 1/3 cup and use a frozen banana. Blend slowly, stopping to stir as needed, until spoonable.

If you want a brighter, fruitier flavor, use orange juice as the liquid. For a creamier, softer flavor, use milk or almond milk.

Taste before pouring. Smoothies vary depending on the sweetness of the fruit, so you can add a tiny extra drizzle of honey if needed.

This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately, but you can refrigerate leftovers in a covered jar for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir well before drinking.

Blend it up and enjoy every sunny sip!
