Make-ahead mango spinach smoothie freezer packs with mango, spinach, banana, lime, and coconut

Make-Ahead Mango Spinach Smoothie Freezer Packs

These Make-Ahead Mango Spinach Smoothie Freezer Packs are built for bright, quick breakfast smoothies with almost no morning prep. Sweet mango and banana balance the fresh green spinach, while lime adds a sunny pop and coconut gives each blend a soft tropical finish. Prep a few packs at once, freeze them flat, and you have a ready-to-blend breakfast waiting whenever the morning feels rushed.

Ingredients

Makes 4 freezer packs.

  • 3 cups mango chunks, fresh or frozen
  • 2 packed cups baby spinach
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 3 cups coconut water or unsweetened coconut milk, for blending

How To Make It

Set out 4 freezer-safe bags or containers and label them with the smoothie name and date. Divide the mango evenly between the packs, using about 3/4 cup per pack. Add 1/2 cup baby spinach to each one, followed by 1/2 sliced banana.

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons shredded coconut into each pack. Divide the lime zest and lime juice between the packs so every smoothie gets a little citrus brightness. Press out as much air as possible, seal tightly, and freeze flat for easy stacking.

To blend, add 1 frozen smoothie pack to a blender with 3/4 cup coconut water or unsweetened coconut milk. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed. If the smoothie is too thick, add another splash of liquid. If you like it extra frosty, add a few ice cubes and blend again.

Tips

For the fastest prep, use frozen mango chunks and pre-washed baby spinach. If your bananas are very ripe, slice and freeze them right away so they are ready when you assemble the packs.

Coconut water keeps the smoothie light and refreshing, while unsweetened coconut milk makes it creamier. Both work well, so choose based on the texture you want that morning.

Pack the spinach into the bags before freezing, but do not overstuff them. A flatter pack freezes faster, stacks neatly, and breaks up more easily in the blender.

For best flavor, use the freezer packs within 2 to 3 months. If you want a stronger lime taste, save a little fresh lime juice to squeeze in after blending.

Blend, sip, and enjoy a sunny breakfast in minutes!
