Raspberry Lemonade Yogurt Smoothie in a glass with raspberries and lemon slices

Raspberry Lemonade Yogurt Smoothie

This Raspberry Lemonade Yogurt Smoothie is creamy, tangy, and sweet in the best sunny-day way. Frozen raspberries bring bold berry flavor, fresh lemon juice gives it that lemonade-style brightness, and Greek yogurt makes it smooth and satisfying. It is a cheerful high-protein smoothie for a quick breakfast, an easy afternoon snack, or a refreshing sip after a warm walk.

Ingredients

For one generous smoothie, you will need:

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, plus more as needed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 1/2 cup ice, optional

Frozen raspberries make the smoothie thick, cold, and extra refreshing. The banana softens the tart berry-lemon flavor, while almond butter adds a mellow, nutty creaminess that pairs surprisingly well with the bright fruit.

How To Make It

Add the almond milk to your blender first so the blades can move easily. Spoon in the Greek yogurt, then add the frozen raspberries, banana, lemon juice, lemon zest, almond butter, flax seeds, and sweetener if using.

Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30 to 60 seconds. If the smoothie is too thick, splash in a little more almond milk and blend again. If you want it frostier, add the ice and blend until fully crushed.

Taste before pouring. For a more lemonade-like smoothie, add another small squeeze of lemon juice. For a sweeter berry flavor, add an extra teaspoon of honey or maple syrup. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy right away while it is cold and creamy.

Tips

Use a frozen banana if you love an extra-thick smoothie bowl texture. If using fresh raspberries, add the optional ice so the drink still tastes chilled and refreshing.

Plain Greek yogurt keeps the flavor bright and tangy, but vanilla Greek yogurt also works well if you want a sweeter, dessert-like smoothie. If you add vanilla yogurt, you may not need any extra sweetener.

For an even more filling smoothie, blend in a small scoop of vanilla protein powder and add an extra splash of almond milk to loosen the texture. Smoothies are best freshly blended, but you can refrigerate leftovers in a covered jar for up to 24 hours and shake well before sipping.

Blend it up and enjoy every bright, creamy sip!
